Alaskan Yellow Cedar
Alaskan Yellow Cedar (Cupressus nootkatensis) is a durable, rot and insect resistant wood grown on the Northwest coast of North America.
It has a uniform light yellow/white coloring throughout with a commonly straight grain. Although it is easy to machine and hand work, areas with grain waves may be more prone to tear out when planed.
