Goncalo Alves (Astronium spp) is a South American wood often referred to as Tigerwood due to its orange background and black stripes. It’s a dense wood, but is easily worked.
Although there are many related species that fall under the Tigerwood umbrella, we try to stock only the highest quality species for use in flooring, furniture, decking, wood turning, and more.
