Limba

Limba (Terminalia superba) comes from tropical Western Africa. Its coloring is light yellow to golden brown and sometimes has medium to heavy dark streaking. Limba with darker streaking is referred to as Black Limba, while lighter, less-streaked wood is called White Limba, though both come from the same tree.

It is commonly used for veneer, plywood, furniture, musical instruments (primarily electric guitar bodies), and turned objects.

We carry both black and white Limba.
