Product Description
Fiddes White Spirit is a high grade mineral spirits. To the touch, it has a slightly oily quality which contributes to the evenness of the flow and leveling of the Clear Glaze Varnishes. It is the recommended thinner for Clear Glaze, and is the appropriate thinner when used in small amounts in Hard Wax Oil and Danish Oil. White Spirit can be used in the most sparing amount in Supreme Wax if the wax has become thick in the can. While a lower grade of mineral spirits (paint thinner) can be used for cleaning varnish brushes and paint brushes, you may want to reserve White Spirit for thinning purposes to maintain the highest quality for your finishes.
